Operating modes

See what happen if you punch a SPORTident Card into a SI-Station, which is configured in the different operating modes.

CLR - Clear:

Punching a control card into a SI station (BSF7/8), which is configured as operating mode clear, will delete the card memory completely. An acoustical and visual feedback will show the success of the deletion (BS7/8 with factory settings). Every deleted card is listed with chipnumber and the time of the operation in the backup of the station. You can read out the backup of a as clear configured station remote in SI-Config+.

CHK - Check:

The operating mode "check" inspects if the memory of the control card is empty and ready to use. If the card content is empty the control station (factory settings) will give an acoustical and visual feedback. Every "checked" card is listed with chipnumber and the time of the operation in the backup of the station.

STA - Start:

Punching a control card into a SI station which is configured as "start" will write the actual time of the station on the cards start slot. Every punch is listed with the chipnumber and the time of the operation in the backup of the station.

CN - Control:

The different types of cards differs in numbers of available slots for controls. SI-Card 10 and 11 for example have the memory space for maximum 128 control times. While punching a SI-Card into a "control" station the code number and the acutal station time will be safed on the cards memory. Every punch is listed with the chipnumber and the time of the operation in the backup of the station.
